i went on a vacation the whole last week, intended to grab some new experience while was running from the painful reality that i had recently. it was fun actually, but i got some bad experience as well. i didn’t have a thought to post it here until i red someone’s blog who tell about their bad experience which is so similar to mine.
(this incident didn’t ruin my wonderful vacation, anyway. it’s nothing compared to my great times that i had. so it’s merely some little thing to share)

the incident happened at the cashier. i bought two memory cards. it was late and i was so tired having a full one day trip to some tourist destionations. the cashier woman did her regular procedure at her cashier machine and i paid for both items that i bought. after i gave my money to her, she re-calculated the total amount at the calculator (not the cashier machine), then i saw the cashier machine monitor. apparently, she just input one item (whereas i paid for two items). the other item that she seemed just input was void (i knew it later, when i got the receipt). i didnt say nor do anything until she gave me the shopping bag in a very harsh manner, then gave me change and receipt.

i checked the receipt carefully, still in front of the cashier counter. then suddenly she said “hello… hello…” and she grabbed my shop bag, and input the other memory card that hadn’t been input into the cashier machine before. then she throw the memory card and the receipt into my shopping bag and gave it back to me. in a very harsh manner as well. she said something very fast that i couldn’t understand clearly what she said at that times. later, i thought she said something like that i thought she was fishy because she only input one item out of two items that i bought, incidentally. (i got that points from her facial expression and some word cues)

i just wondering. i even didn’t say anything about what she did. the only words that i said to her was “i bought two articles” while showing the false receipt. and i even didn’t mad at her, or thought she was fishy! and she was so mad at me. shouting at me harshly… oh My Lord… it was so pity of her!!!!

the only thing in my mind when i had a shopping bag with 2 memory cards in it while the receipt stated only an item paid (whereas i paid for both of them) was, if the theft-system alarm on, i didnt have sufficient receipt to prove that i was not a shoplifter!!!!!!

it was in carrefour plaza singapura. in the electronic cashier counter . so anyone who go there, please be alert. i don’t mean to generalize what the cashier did to any carrefour in any part of the world. but a friend of mine also experienced bad thing at carrefour ambarukmo plaza security few weeks ago.
